Noriyuki Oka - Representative
After graduating from the Department of Economics at Keio University, Oka entered a PR company. Going independent in 2011, he became a writer after penning articles about the creative field for his work. Upon expanding his article topics into marketing, technology, and business, he also began to pursue content planning and production for company owned media. As his subject range expanded he began to also edit articles and handle media operations. He is currently based in Singapore, where he manages Livit and plans and produces content as he travels from country to country. In the past he has handled a total of 25 types of prominent media platforms from “Toyo Keizai Online” to “NewsPicks”. He is also in charge of many columns.
Gen Hosoya
Since 2005, Hosoya has been translating corporate websites between Japanese and English as well as acting as an interpreter. While working as an interpreter, he handled workshop-style interviews with respected figures within various fields the world over, such as pole vault world record holder Sergey Bubka. In 2011, Hosoya earned his master's degree in politics, philosophy, and economics from the University of York, UK. After graduation, he worked for the Singapore branch of a current affairs news agency, and was involved with the writing and translation of articles concerning advanced subjects such as IT, finance, economics, business startups, and neuroscience. Hosoya joined Livit in 2014 and boasts extensive contact networks in Singapore governmental agencies, major Japanese and local firms, and startups.
Chihiro Nakai
After graduating university, Nakai worked in finance before moving to the UK to study. She made the most of her newfound language skills that she acquired there on her return to Japan, where she worked as a consultant in business language training. She transferred to a major Japanese trading firm after moving to Singapore. She accumulated business experience in a place that attracts multinational employees from countries such as Singapore, India, Australia, Mongolia, and China before moving to Holland, where she established herself as an independent writer. Her talents lie in rounding up the topics that are hot overseas, regardless of field, and bringing them to Japanese people in a way that’s easy to grasp.
